DIRECT/INDIRECT SPEECH

1. Direct : Mary said,” I was sick yesterday “.
   Indirect : Mary said that she had been sick the day before.
   Alasan : Tenses >> Simple past tense ke past perfect tense

2. Direct : He told me,” I have given the book to your sister “.
   Indirect : He told me that he had given the book to my sister.
   Alasan :Tenses >> Present prefect tense ke past perfect tense.

3. Direct : Ani said to budi,”You may come to my house tomorrow?”.
   Indirect : Ani said to budi that he might come to her house the following day.
   Alasan : Tenses >> Simple present to simple pas tense

4. Dierct : He asked me,” What will you be doing at seven tonight?”.
   Indirect : He asked me what I would be doing at seven that night .

5. Direct : Dudi said, “I have lost my keys”.

   Indirect : He told her that her brother would return his camera the following day.

   Indirect : He told me that he had been waiting for me since 3 o'clock.

    Indirect : She asked him wether he had been studying at seven the previous night.

    Indirect : The police said that Ardy wasn't to drive without license.
